Some time ago, the very talented

proposed a colouring contest on one of his sketches [link] and I picked up the gauntlet with this little entry: [link]).

Turns out he liked my humble effort, so he awarded me the prize of twenty US Dollars.

Instead, I asked him if I could commission a picture from him and he drew me this [link] , a truly stunning representation of my character Jeanne in a style reminiscent of the French comic artist Tardi.

Since his usual style is black and white graphite, I then asked his permission to colour the lineart, and this is the result.

Ah, so basically you want to commission a drawing from me, I see. Well, I'm afraid I don't do commissions right now, because I don't really have the spare time, but I might just draw this one for free. Just be forewarned that it might take a while before I get it done, with all the stuff I have to do...

Yep! coloring a picture that's been shaded with pencil can be tricky, and it's easy to ruin it. But you have made a great job of it.
