Lowlands War ships

This is still for "Skies of Fire", in this case designs for a few ships belonging to the Duchy of Esteront, during the "Lowlands War" (704-712) and especially the climactic "Battle of Solitude Ridge" in 712, the largest airship battle in history which led to the victory of The Empire of Aquila and the "Copperhead Accords".

Since Esteront doesn't have any ship building capability of it's own, all of these ships are made by shipyards in neighbouring Trinev, so I tried to show that in the design - for example the droop nose of the "Mitra Class" also appears on the "TS Rassa", a cargo ship made by the same company, the creatively named "Trinev Ships", and which appeared in the "Ships of the World" poster.

When it comes to painting, I went with a variant on dazzle, to set them apart at a glance from the solid blue of the Aquilan ships.
