Skies of Fire Postcard by wingsofwrath Skies of Fire Postcard by wingsofwrath
This is a postcard of a set I made as stretch goals for the Skies of Fire Kickstarter, back in between Issues 2 and 3 (early 2016), using airships from the "Ships of the World" poster.

The back is a mix-and match based on several out-of-copyright early twentieth century postcards available on stock photo sites, like this one or this other one.

Two questions, how would these take hits? Does it have armor?

Indeed it does! Because the people in this world mainly rely for lift (at least in military applications) on a gas called "Cavorium" which has negative gravitational mass (concept lifted -pun intended- from H.G Wells' "The First Men in the Moon") they can afford to build airships which more closely resemble wet-navy ones, including armour, something that would be utterly ludicrous in our world.

Awesome! I love, love flying airships! I make some of my own on a game called Simpleplanes, want to see? www.simpleplanes.com/a/9n9ba8/…
